Made with Gluten and Lactose free Products

I found this recipe in the SAN-J gluten free site. It was so very delicious. I made it the way they wrote the recipe for the first time, and riffed and made double the amount of sauce the second time around.
The recipe below is my version. I had made enough for one night and freezing for a second meal. We both loved it so much that we ended up having the same meal the next night!
Measure and prep:
Heinz tomato ketchup - 1 c
Sweet chili sauce - ½ c. I had none so, I mixed 3 T of chili garlic sauce with 2 T brown sugar
San-J Tamari Gluten Free Soy Sauce - 4 T
Ground ginger – 1 ½ t
Granulated garlic - 1 t
Wings:
Chicken wing - 3 lbs, separated, tips frozen for stock
Garnish:
Scallion - 1, finely minced
Sesame seeds - 2 t, lightly toasted
To serve with (your choice):
Extra marinading sauce, raita, ranch dressing, roasted carrot and cauliflower*, gluten-free garlic bread or corn bread.
Let's make wings:
Whisk ketchup, chili sauce, San-J Tamari Soy Sauce, ginger, and garlic powder and mix well and set aside.
Separate the wings.
Pour ½ c of the mixture into a large bowl.
Add the wings and toss and massage with your clean hands to coat and marinade for 30 minutes at room temperature or for 4-8 hours in the refrigerator.
Preheat the air fryer and place the wings in and fry for 10 minutes.
Pour the hot wings back into the bowl, (discard the oil rendered from the wings) add more marinade if needed and toss with wings to coat and air fry for further 10 minutes.
Wash out the bowl and tongs, add a ¼ c marinade into the bowl and toss the wings in again using tongs as they will be very hot and air fry for another 2 minutes till you can see some spots of charring.
Pour on to a platter and let rest tented with foil for 10 minutes.
While the wings were cooking, I prepped some cauliflower and carrots which I then tossed in 2 T olive oil added to the marinade in the bowl which I then air fried while the wings were resting on the platter.
I dished the vegetables to one side of the platter with the wings and sprinkled everything with the green onion and sesame seeds and served with the dressing of choice and garlic bread corn bread works well too (recipe in index).
You can grill these on direct heat on a grill heated to medium if you wish.
Enjoy!
