you probably thought all the dopey banks were in the united states.  guess again, the brits have one that is the pits.  it is run by sir victor blank.

if he had been around in the good old days, he would have probably been happy to send children who stole food off to australia as prisoners.  or maybe, he would have been delighted in putting american prisoners during the war of revolution into that hell hole of a prison in scotland.

anyway you cut it, he is one tough cookie.  here is his favorite trick.

if you have 60 pounds in your checking account and you withdraw 60 pounds at a cash machine, you will be charged a cash machine charge of a pound and a half.  now, that bank charge which comes from vic, puts you overdrawn and you get charged 21 pounds as your overdrawn fee. 

boy, would american banks love to do this.  they can't.  if you do not have enough money in your account for the withdraw and the fee, it will just be denied without any charge.

they say the mafia was sleazy?

rumor has it that this creepy lord is considering coming to new york city to hang out around the docks.  when he sees a young american he will bop him on the head and drag him onto one of her majesty's ships.

in any event, we are sending this blog to the queen requesting that vic be sent to the tower.  better yet, off with his head.
