tourists who are coming to new york city are telling us that the amtrak trains are filthy and the staff is rude. who would believe a tourist? so we went for a ride and let us be the first to tell you that the condition of the train, especially the bathrooms, made us want to throw up. there was piss on the floor and the toilet was stopped up. when we reported it to the conductor, he said, it happens all the time and it is not his job to clean it up. the food sold was disgusting.
