THE NEW YORK TIMES "A day after its members narrowly rejected a package of wage and benefit cuts, the Boston Globe’s largest union filed a complaint with federal regulators, challenging the 23 percent pay cut the newspaper had set in motion.
"The union, the Boston Newspaper Guild, also called on The Globe and its owner, The New York Times Company, to resume negotiations rather than carry out the unilateral wage reduction.
"Union members tried to absorb the prospect of a steep drop in salary, and many of them emerged from a guild meeting resigned to the idea that it would happen, at least for a while, until their case is heard by the National Labor Relations Board."
****this is a real giggle. here you have the new york times, the voice of liberalism in the united states, showing its true colors. it would rather go out of business than give the workers a decent wage. it is so laughable that the newspaper is in severe financial trouble, which is mainly because of its constant left wing stance and its constant unamerican articles running down our military. within all of that, it has also been caught lying about news in a number of instances. in short, they turn out to be just as bad as everything they attack.
